BEIRUT — Once upon a time a U.S. secretary of state spoke of the “birth pangs of a new Middle East.” That’s now the most laughed-at phrase in gravity-defying Lebanon, a country with a valiant Resistance which defeated Israel three times on the battlefield..., a “unity” government ..., a wild real estate boom and a US/Israeli/European/Canadian Western manufactured time bomb called the “international tribunal....” STL/TSL.... aimed at targeting the reputation, future and legacy of the Lebanese resistance and of degrading the morale fiber of the Valiant Lebanese Resistance....which will utterly fail anew....

Confused already? NO...., it's clear as day light.....Lebanon is not for US/Israeli/Western amateurs.... Condoleezza Rice wanted to believe that in the bloodshed of USA/Israel’s 2006 war against Lebanon, and the militant Shiite movement, lay the seeds of a new Middle East — democratic, Hezbollah-free and amenable to U.S./Israeli interests. Turns out she was/is still dreaming....
Four years on, Hezbollah and Lebanon are stronger than ever... It has the more powerful of those two armies (the other being the Lebanese armed forces), a presence in government, veto power over Lebanon’s direction, and a leader — Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah — whose popularity as the proud face of Arab defiance has never been higher and deservedly so....
Certitude is proper, even vital, in some areas of life....especially when it comes to facts we hold about the infamous White House Murder INC,....and its Chief assassin Asef SHAWKAT.....since January 24th 2002..... But in the realm of politics it can be, in fact usually is, an expression of overconfidence or worse....
Part of wisdom is knowing what one doesn't know...... And part of modesty is acting accordingly.....Hence, this is what we do know.....
Dahiye, the Hezbollah-controlled southern Beirut suburb flattened by USA/Israel in 2006, now bustles with construction and commerce, including state-of-the-art juice bars and risqué lingerie stores. It feels about as threatening as New York’s Canal Street....
And America/Israel/Europe continue to dream, albeit in sobered fashion. Sure, the “new Middle East” has joined “axis of evil” in the diplomatic junkyard. But U.S./Israeli/Western policy still involves an attempt to ignore reality....
Hezbollah, Iran-financed with a Syrian post office Box...., has assumed a pivotal role in Lebanese politics.... It’s a political party, a social movement and a Resistance for which the term “terrorist group” is entirely grotesque and inadequate. It has also become the single most powerful symbol of what is known throughout the Middle East as “the resistance.”
This is an unpalatable truth. It’s also, I suspect, an enduring one. For the United States to shun any contact with Hezbollah amounts to trying to play the Middle Eastern chess game without several pieces. As recent history suggests, that’s a recipe for utter failure....
A little of that history is in order. The 2005 assassination of Lebanon’s pro-Saudi, former prime minister Rafik Hariri by the infamous White House Murder INC, using the Bamboozled Asef SHAWKAT and his cut-out goons...., set off massive protests that saw Syria withdraw its military and rekindled old illusions of a Lebanon firmly in the Western camp.....
An illegal and unconstitutional United Nations tribunal was set up by Fouad MOSSAD/CIA Sinnyora.... to "supposedly investigate" the killing amid widespread confirmation of Syrian involvement..... A billboard — “The Truth — for the sake of Lebanon” — caught the giddy sense of new beginnings in the land of foreign meddling par excellence .... Nobody spoke more about “truth” than Saad Hariri, the slain leader’s son and now himself a prime CIA/KSA minister....all the while protecting many manufactured False Witnesses...., fabricated by the Syrians and CIA.....
Everyone, it seemed, was drinking the Kool-Aid.... Even Walid CIA/MOSSAD Jumblatt, the leader of Lebanon’s Druze community and the ultimate Middle Eastern survivor, spoke of the “start of a new Arab world,” went anti-Syrian and was a strong advocate of the fake CIA/MOSSAD tribunal.... As he’s a Lebanese bellwether, that seemed significant....because Jumblatt is a CIA/MOSSAD asset since the 1970s and still is today....
Now, over an exquisite lunch in his Beirut villa, I found the twinkly-eyed Jumblatt speaking of the “madness” of that moment, his brief sojourn on “the imperialist side,” his sense that he had “gone too far with the Americans/Israelis and the Arab CIA moderates,” and his realization that the survival of his small community depended on taking the familiar road to Damascus....and the White House Murder INC,....which struck again on February 12th 2008 in Kafarsousa, killing Imad F. MOUGHNIEH...in a new deal with Asef SHAWKAT and his goons...., which afforded Syria protection from STL for now....and may be for good....if he manages to pull off the assassination of the Century on behalf of CIA/MOSSAD...and that is the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah....., desperately sought by CIA/MOSSAD/MI6......
The Obama administration has been falsely "infuriated" by Jumblatt’s switch in public...., but Jumblatt is still a CIA/MOSSAD asset..., make no mistake about it.... But it reflects the changing tide. As Nadim Houry, the Beirut director of Human Rights Watch, said: “After what Israel/USA did in July 2006, the United States lost the strategic war.” This was consummated in 2008, when Hezbollah defeated its pro-Western rivals on the streets of Beirut....
A recent meeting between Jumblatt and Jeffrey CIA Feltman, the assassin in Chief and the U.S. assistant secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, did go very smoothly. “He told me I’m a national leader and should back the CIA/MOSSAD tribunal,” Jumblatt said. “I said, no, I prefer to be a tribal CIA leader, I’m downgrading! And I asked what the use of tribunal justice is if it leads to slaughter? It’s better to drop justice for stability....”
Jumblatt is flip but still CIA....and shrewd. An indictment from the tribunal is imminent; rumors are rife that it will accept fabricated CIA/MOSSAD evidence in order to name Hezbollah members.... That could ignite tensions across an explosive Shia-Sunni (Iran-Arab) fault line. It would also cast Hariri as Hamlet: heading a government including those accused of murdering his father...., I.E. the odious White House Murder INC,...and Asef SHAWKAT's Goons.....
Nasrallah has been multiplying warnings and advancing credible — and widely believed — evidence of Israeli/Syrian/USA involvement in the assassination by the infamous threesome of assassins since January 24th 2002...and the odious assassination of Mr. Elie HOBEIKA, the barbaric White House Murder INC. Hariri has been talking less and less about “truth” and meeting more and more with the Syrian skunk Bashar Assad....the head of the Snake....since 2000....
My sense is the passage of time — as well as bungling and inconsistencies — has rendered justice impossible in the Hariri murder...., which is exactly what the assassins intended from day one..... Lebanese stability is precious and tenuous: It trumps justice delayed, flawed, fabricated by CIA/MOSSAD and an STL totally infested by Western/Israeli foreign intelligence creeps....
In its way, the delicate balance of Shia and Sunni interests as the Lebanese economy booms and Hezbollah makes deals with Hariri does represent a new Middle East of money-making pragmatism. It’s just not the one the United States/Israel/Europe wanted or are ready to deal with....
